The Assassins Creed Revelation franchise is a long-running series of historical action-adventure video games that follow the ongoing war between the Assassins and the Templars. Since the first installment, released in 2007, the series has continued to build and expand, with Revelations the latest and greatest games ever released. The game, developed by Ubisoft and powered by the Ubi-engine, allows players to explore various historical locations, along with assume the roles of various Assassins Creed Revelations characters, such as Ezio Auditore, Altair, and Connor.

The game introduces a vast range of new features, including the ability to craft and upgrade weapon, armor and items, while also adding a new layer of puzzles to the game. It also comes with the new "Army DLC 1" as an added bonus, allowing players to enlist a large army of allies and battle enemies alike, while also learning answers to some of the game's mysteries.

The Assassins Creed Revelation main story is driven by the AC Revelations key in the form of several ancient artifacts called "Codices". These Codex unlock memories for Ezio and Altair, marking key points in both of their lives and providing context for the wars that rage on.

In addition, there are special missions, called Initiates, which must be completed before AC Revelations can be completed. The Initiates often come with unique rewards, such as unique gear or special missions. Finally, the game also features a new Altair Upload File feature, allowing players to send data to other computers, allowing them to continue their game on another machine.

For fans of the series, there are a vast range of AC Revelations game mods available, allowing them to improve the visuals, change the levels, add new content, and generally customize the game to their own vision. For more minor tweaks, there are also several additional AC Brotherhood mods available. Finally, there is also a Lego-inspired version of Assassins Creed currently available, allowing players to explore some of the themes of the original game, while still engaging in some of the classic action.

As a complete package, has much to offer to all types of players. For those that are new to the series, there is the opportunity to explore some of the historical events of the past, as well as engage in the ongoing war between the Assassins and the Templars. For veteran players, there are plenty of new features, mechanics, and Initiates missions to keep them entertained for hours on end.
