Destiny 2 dev steps up anti-cheat lawsuits as Lightfall expansion nearsThe last serial number for this program was added to our data base on January 14, 2020 139 visitors told us the serial is good, 286 guys said the number is bad Rating (by view): 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (🏅) As the much-anticipated expansion of Destiny 2, Lightfall, nears its release date, developer Bungie is intensifying their legal efforts against those who breach their anti-cheat policies. Specifically, they are targeting the notorious Lavicheats review site and its associated services. This marks a significant move from the studio, as they have previously been hesitant to pursue any legal action against developers who violate their terms of service. The Lavicheats review website has been known for offering an array of cheats and hacks for Destiny 2 players. The site has received a lot of criticism from the gaming community for its unethical activities, which include selling cheats and hacks to players. In response to the increasing number of complaints against the website, Bungie decided to take matters into their own hands by filing a lawsuit against the site’s owner. In the complaint filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, Bungie claims that Lavicheats review is violating their terms of service by selling products that enable players to gain an unfair advantage over other players. They also allege that the website enables players to “purchase access to and use of unauthorized software” which violates their End User License Agreement. Furthermore, Bungie claims that the actions of the website owners have caused them to suffer financial losses, as well as damage to their reputation and brand. The company is now seeking damages for the losses incurred and has requested an injunction to stop the website from continuing to offer their services. The lawsuit is sure to be a test case for how developers will handle cheating and hacking in the future. If Bungie is successful in this case it could set a precedent for other developers to follow suit, especially with the rise of anti dev comics and websites such as Lavicheat. It is clear that Bungie takes violations of their anti-cheat policies seriously, and they will continue to do so as they prepare to launch their next big expansion. Only time will tell if they are successful in their endeavors. Related keywords:
